Cindy’s secret to squeezing a couple more days out of your mani?
Polish on a layer of top coat every other day. The important trick however is in the method!
Make sure to paint the top coat over the tip and slightly under the nail so that it wraps around the edge. This will help to reseal your color and fend off that dreaded chipping for a little bit longer!
We’ve all been there– your nails are almost dry, you’re done with your magazine, and you want to hit the Upper West Side road. You see the drying spray and oil - which one do you use?
Both the spray and the oil will help to speed up the drying process, but at a price. The spray will help your nails dry the fastest, and the oil will help prevent dents and smudges….but they could cut the life of your mani short by causing the polish to peel and chip sooner.
If you absolutely need to run, Cindy’s recommends that clients use the oil instead of the spray.
However, to get the MOST out of your new mani, Cindy’s recommends that you forgo the spray and the oil altogether and instead spend the time to sit through two drying cycles at the drying station. This will optimize your manicure!
